Completion: 2008

Product: Three industrial work platforms:

  • one 72’7” X 13’9” X 3’9: with 36” wide IBC closed stair and landing
  • one 20’6” X 27’6” X 10’20: with 36” stair and 21 linear feet of handrail;
  • one 20’ X 28’9” X 8’10” with 3-foot stair and 14 linear feet of handrail.

The LSP facility was opened in 2007 to supply door panels and other components for the regional BMW plant, located in Spartanburg, SC. The three mezzanines were built for distinct purposes; the largest is a storage mezzanine for parts for manufacturing equipment; the second mezzanine serves as storage above the “teaching” area, where employees are trained on equipment; and the third, originally only for storage, had an in-plant office added to it to house the plant’s quality control team, as well as a small conference room.
