Completion: 2008
- Product: 1,700 square-foot mezzanine, including columns, decking, joist, stair and landing, handrails.
This mezzanine was created as a platform for the increasingly popular game of Laser Tag, in which players battle in a fabricated atmosphere wearing electronic gear synchronized to electronic “weaponry” that simulates battle situations. This facility is designed for the apocalyptic, terminator/Mad-Max Robocop theme; it occupies a former movie theater, taking advantage of 35-foot high ceilings. Two stair/landing combinations provide access to the mezzanine, designed to carry loading to support eight wooden structures behind which players can hide and aim at fellow gamers. |
