Stairs are manufactured to meet stringent IBC, BOCA or OSHA building codes and include the necessary 2 rail or 3 rail guardrail (handrail) required per building codes. Standardwidth is 36”. Stairs are the painted gray and the guardrail is painted safety yellow. Open tread/open riser design stairs utilize steel bar grating for treads. Closed tread/open riser and closed tread/closed riser designs utilize steel diamond plate for treads and/or risers. Landings are decked with steel diamond plate and are available in 3 sizes; 3’6” square (standard for 36” doors), 3’ square and 4’square.
